About Our Company

NoCo House Buyers, Inc. is a Colorado Company founded by Blake Stevens. Our company was created to give home sellers a fair price solution to selling a house in Northern Colorado quickly. We are real estate investors who buy houses from people who are looking for non-traditional options. We buy property in “as-is” condition. Our customers sell in days for CASH or the same price they would NET by selling it with an agent. We aren’t the run of the mill realtors telling people what they want to hear, giving advice without ever putting their money where there mouth is. We are able to work with all types of houses and all types of situations.  We work with houses ranging from beautiful and big to ugly and small. We strive for simple, no hassle closings. We have strict standards and a strong set of values that we follow on a daily basis.

I got in to real estate as an accidental landlord.  We were having our second child and my wife said we are not putting the baby in the closet!   We had to move but the national economy had just taken a huge crash and even though we had lived in the house 6 years and taken care of everything right, we couldn’t sell the house traditionally by putting it on the market, fixing it up, showing it at all hours, keeping it spotless and hoping and waiting to get top dollar.  I did the math and even if all that went perfect  and our selling price was high, we wouldn’t have any cash in hand after real estate commissions, closing costs, paying for seller down payment, holding costs during the sales period and fix up costs there wouldn’t be any money left above our loan balance. We could either pay $10 to $15 grand to sell our house after all that work, do a short sale, or let it go to foreclosure or find a better solution.    

Once I got in to real estate I found I really liked it. I helped out some  people experiencing the same problem I had.  Then I fixed up a few houses to get them in top shape and found I really liked it and after doing a few could do it much cheaper than a homeowner, make a profit so my wife can stay at home with the kids and still offer the seller a fair cash offer the same they’d net selling it the traditional way without any hassles for them. 

Here we are now. I found a way where I can be of service to others the way Jesus calls us to serve. I can help people solve their real estate problems by offering them a service, referring them to other local experts or even just by being a guide and helping them do it on their own. 

I grew up in Fort Collins, I lived in Loveland and I’ve worked and played sports all over Northern Colorado.  I love our area, NoCo. Our company borrows money from private lenders so that they get a good return secured against a hard asset they can see and understand.  We take a problem property off a sellers hands and get them the cash they want.  We fix up the worst houses or even just average houses and make them the gem of the neighborhood, which improves our community one house at a time.  We put trades people to work and stimulate the local economy.  We partner with people looking to get a return on their capital in long term rentals providing  quality housing while earning a good secure return.  All around it’s a win, win, win business that I love.

As a full time Real Estate Professional since 1999 my success comes from happy clients.  Please let me make your real estate transition as easy as possible.”  I had extensive real estate experience from multiple sides of the business.  I started as a residential mortgage broker in Colorado, moved up to Freemont Bank, CA as an account executive bundling loans from local residential mortgage brokers and moving the pools up to wall street investors.  I then moved to Connecticut and worked as a residential mortgage broker but transitioned into a real estate agent working on a top foreclosure team.  At this time I made some investments of my own capitalizing on my knowledge of the market.  I moved back home to Fort Collins, CO and now a licensed real estate agent and mortgage broker, processing short sales, investing and working as an active real estate agent.  My experience from multiple sides of the business gives me a unique perspective and ability to relate with home sellers, home buyers and bank employees.

I am a mother of a 4 year old son. My husband works in a call center. I have more than 5 years in call center industry and more than 4 years in the Real Estate Industry. I love cooking, baking, singing and eating. I am a shy type at first but easily come around. I am that kind of person who’s ambitious. When I want something, I find my ways to get it. I work hard for it most especially when it’s about my family and myself growth. I don’t easily give up.

It’s really a blessing in disguise to be part of Blake’s team. Working as Web & Social Media Manager and Property Valuation Specialist gives me a lot of wonderful experience in a real estate world.
